Eat These Foods Every Week To Help You Lose Fat

If you want to lose fat, don\’t think that you need to workout for hours on end or starve yourself. You can lose fat by eating certain foods that have properties which assist your body maintain healthy weight and shape. Include these foods in your diet every week.

Milk may not generally be considered a weight-loss food, but it is. Milk contains casein, a powerful hunger suppressant. The high level of calcium in milk has special significance in weight loss, as well as promoting strong bones. You get the additional benefit of a cocktail of vitamins and minerals, essential for your health. Choosing the low-fat varieties is the healthiest option.

Yogurt is another dairy product that has all the same benefits as milk, with the added advantage of containing probiotics. Probiotics are the \’good\’ bacteria that are always needed in the intestines to maintain the correct balance, to ensure the healthy absorption of nutrients and the proper passage of food and waste.

Eggs are another food not often included in a weight-loss program, but their benefits as a fat-burning food means that you should eat them in moderate amounts. Eggs are high in protein which burns fat and builds muscle, which also helps to burn fat. The vitamin B12 in eggs also helps to break down the fat that is already stored around your body. Recent studies have reversed the belief that eggs may not be good for heart health.

Another dairy food is ricotta cheese, with all the benefits of dairy, but with the added advantage of being a whey protein. Whey protein has been shown to build lean muscle, so why buy expensive, artificially formulated whey powders when a few servings of ricotta cheese will do the same job of building lean muscle tissue.

Another good fat-burning group of foods is citrus. As well as containing high levels of vitamins, especially C, and minerals, they are a good source of dietary fiber which essential for weight loss and good health. Try a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice in a glass of water for a great pick-me-up.

Soy is generally considered a healthy food product, but it also contains lecithin which helps to prevent fat accumulating in the body.

You know that fruit is good for you, but did you know that those that contain high levels of pectin also help you lose fat? This is because pectin helps to limit how much fat your body absorbs from your food. The best fruits include grapes, apples, berries, melons and bananas.

Vegetables would be the top health food that nature has provided, containing vitamins, minerals and fiber unable to be obtained from other sources. There are some varieties that are also great fat-burning foods as well, including broccoli, green leafy varieties, mushrooms, cucumber, pulses, tomatoes and garlic, which will also help you to lose fat.
